Tucked among the trees at Oakwood Retreat, Cardinal is a cozy camper getaway designed for two. With all the comforts you need for an easy stay, and plenty of reasons to spend your time outside, it’s a perfect little escape for slowing down, reconnecting, and enjoying the woods. Inside, Cardinal features a queen bed, dining table, and a convenient kitchen with a stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, and sink. You’ll also have your own private bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower. One of our favorite features is the screened-in porch, where you can relax outside while still having a little protection from the bugs and weather. It includes a table and chairs, plus a daybed that can be configured for sleeping outside, perfect for anyone who wants to fall asleep surrounded by the sounds of the woods without giving up quite all the comforts of home. Outside, you’ll have your own picnic table and wood-burning fire pit, creating a private spot for morning coffee, dinner outdoors, or lingering around the fire after dark.
